Trained as a multilingual speech-language pathologist, Dr. Giang T. Pham works at San Diego State University as a Professor of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and Associate Dean for Research in the College of Health and Human Services. Dr. Pham directs the Bilingual Development in Context Lab, funded by the National Institutes of Health, to support the development of children with language difficulties who speak Vietnamese in the United States and Vietnam, and for bilinguals in the US who speak Vietnamese or Spanish at home. Dr. Pham resides in San Diego, California, with her husband and two daughters.
