Lucas Steuber is an Applied Linguist and Speech-Language Pathologist who now works in development of AAC and Assistive Technology. He began his career working in the schools before moving into private practice where he specialized in low-incidence disorders. Since then he has served as the clinical director and/or director of product at several major AAC industry organizations, including Avaz, Tobii Dynavox, Cognixion, and others. He has twice won the CES "Technology for a Better World" award for his AAC and AT designs, and also serves in a strategic planning capacity for the Autism Society of America.
