Meena Kalyanasundaram is a mother of a 25-year-old young man with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. Meena Kalyanasundaram is a strong advocate for her son and other children/adults like her son, She and her husband, Somasundaram founded WeEMBRACE in 2018 and they have set up a microenterprise, Athish Handi Kreations, for him and have struggled to get the services and supports needed to improve his quality of life despite his challenges and hardships. WeEMBRACE is a non-profit organization, which serves more than 200 families of neuro-diverse individuals in and around Sacramento and more than 500 families nationwide.
